The problem
Onboarding is a checklist with thirty steps and a client who told you on Friday that someone starts Monday. Accounts, licences, groups, mailboxes, devices, phones, apps. Miss one and the new starter's first day is spent waiting. Offboarding is worse: miss one and a sacked employee is still reading the client's email on Tuesday.
How we build it
- Starts from one email. "Sarah starts Monday" is enough.
- Chases the details. Role, manager, start date, location and equipment, gathered before the work starts.
- Builds the lot from the role template. Account, licences, mailbox, groups, Teams, shared drives, phone and line-of-business apps.
- Gets the device ready. Ordered, enrolled and configured so it's ready to go out of the box.
- Offboards completely. Disables sign-in, revokes sessions, forwards mail, transfers files, recovers licences and lists the hardware to collect.
- Proves it's done. A completed checklist on the ticket, every step ticked and time-stamped.
And if you'd like it:
- Sends the welcome pack to the new starter with logins, first steps and how to get help.
- Handles role changes too, adding and removing access when someone moves teams.
Your team stays in charge
Every client gets its own approved checklist. Anything unusual, like a VIP or an executive leaving under a cloud, goes to a person first.
What the future looks like
New starters log in at 9:01 on day one. Leavers lose access the moment they go. Licences stop leaking, and your techs stop dreading Monday mornings.
